A nozzle ring modification is generally associated with a steam turbine rerate. ULAS will assess the magnitude of the condition change to determine if a nozzle ring change alone is required to achieve new operating conditions or if other components need to be modified.
ULAS uses modern design and manufacturing techniques to fabricate steam turbine nozzle rings. The size, type, and quantity of nozzles affect a steam turbine's power output and efficiency. We custom design each nozzle ring for the specific gas conditions to maximize efficiency.
